REMOVE NOT THE ANCIENT LANDMARK - Proverbs 22:28
When I stop and look at the world around me, I always see something new; something changed; and sadly, the most change I see is in my own generation. The young people are gearing toward new music, new fads, and new dreams and desires. The “ancient landmarks” have been moved. The things once considered horrible and unacceptable are now well, accepted; especially in music.
It is my prayer and desire, through this CD, to take a stand for my generation to “not remove these ancient landmarks”. Our world may have changed, but our God hasn’t and therefore, neither should we. These traditional songs and hymns are loved by many, but they also glorify God, and that is most important.
First of all, I would like to thank my Lord for His grace and providence in making this CD. Secondly, I would like to thank my parents, my grandparents, my pastor and youth pastor, and any other authority in my life who has shown me the ancient landmarks. You have taught me, loved me, and directed me by God’s grace. I love you all and I pray this will be a blessing for you!
To everyone else, thank you for being faithful examples and a blessing in my life! God bless you!
Sincerely,
John Tyler
